Unexpected and Unwelcome News

This afternoon I went outside to put something in the car and found this rather unwelcome site – a hole in the lift gate. At first we weren’t sure if it was the result of someone hitting the car or vandalism. We talked with the police who took a report and they think it was the result of the car being backed into by a truck (note the red flecks of paint near the logo). Fortunately our insurance will cover the repair.
